"I" As Numerous Shifts, 2018

A series of sculptural corner paintings each scaled at 16.25 in. x 72 in. made with acrylic on silk organza stretched over wooden stretcher bars held together with hinges.

Documentation at Front/Space, KCMO

This body of eight corner sculptures was included as part of a collaborative exhibition, Resonant Frequency: "I" As Numerous Shifts with animator Daniel Chase. The screen as a support makes reference to the functionality of a decorative screen, as it might also direct the way space is moved through. The sculptures were created in mind to respond to light (and controlled light from animations) with transparent organza, and opaque marks from layers of acrylic paint.
